Money, Money, Money!

This week the children have been practicing their addition and subtraction skills using money. They have explored the language of money and shopping in our Shop Role Play Area. Children have worked in small groups to solve word problems involving buying sweets from a shop. They have worked on their own to add different amounts of Baht using 1, 2, 5 and 10 baht coins. Small groups have also enjoyed the challenge of using larger numbers to solve money problems on interactive games. They have also begun to explore the concept of giving change.
