This week the children have designed and made price labels for their bags for life, ready to sell to their parents. The money raised will be donated to Clown Eckie for the charity 'A Gift of Happiness'. https://www.gohappiness.org/ The children have also begun to think about their contribution to the back drop for the Early Years and Key Stage 1 Performance. They are creating repeating patterns on pyjamas. The first part of this process was to draw their designs on paper. They then put the paper on top of a polystyrene tile and pressed the pencil through the paper where they had drawn lines. The children will then use acrylic paints to create the printed images... look out for them when you are watching the Performance!

In Maths this week the children have completed tally charts and graphs. They each chose what information they would like to collect and created their own tally chart. The children used their communication skills effectively to ask their friends questions about which item was their favourite.
