Carrying out a Fair Test

This week the children have been discussing how to set up a fair test. They worked in small groups to devise a way of testing which vehicle would travel further. The class spent some time discussing which surfaces they would test their results on and how they would record their results.

On Monday we made shape goggles and went on a 2D shape hunt around school. The children spotted lots of shapes, including hexagons and octagons.

The children have explored 2D shapes by creating pictures with them. They have named the shapes they have used and described the properties of different 2D shapes.

In English the children have watched and then acted out a scene from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. https://youtu.be/HI0x0KYChq4
